The first real non-pilot deployment of XO laptops has started in Uruguay, 1000 were deployed the first 3 days, 7000 in the next two weeks and 90 thousand in the coming months. Peru is next, they signed an order for 260 thousand today. Source: Ivan Krstić’s blog.
