En el pueblo de Arahuay (ubicado a 140 Km de Lima) los niños del Colegio Apostol Santiago ya disfrutan de la tecnología de la información y de la comunicación, el piloto montado por el Ministerio de Educación y la fundación OLPC ya fue aprobado por el Congreso de la República y se desarrollará, desde el próximo año en las escuelas más probres del Perú, la 1era etapa del proyecto “Una laptop por niño”

Esta laptop de conectividad inalámbrica, es eficiente, durable, opera a 2600 msnm y en duras condiciones ambientales, los niños están muy motivados, tienen una actitud más participativa en el aula, son más creativos y han aprendido a investigar.
